Welcome to ChampionsBook. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and sign up for our services, including through Google Sign-In.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide better services to all our users. The information we collect includes:

• Personal Identification Information: Name, email address, and profile picture (if provided via Google).
• Account Data: Username, password (encrypted), and account preferences.
• Usage Data: Information about how you use our website, such as worksheets downloaded and pages visited.

3. Google User Data

When you choose to "Sign in with Google", we collect the following information from your Google Profile:

• Email Address: To uniquely identify your account and send important notifications.
• Name: To personalize your dashboard and certificates.
• Profile Picture: To display as your avatar on the dashboard.

Note: We do NOT access your contacts, Google Drive files, or any other private data stored in your Google account. We only access the basic profile information you explicitly authorize.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service (e.g., allowing you to download worksheets).
• To notify you about changes to our Service.
• To allow you to participate in interactive features when you choose to do so.
• To provide customer support.
• To monitor the usage of the Service.

5. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. Third-party services used include:

• Google Sign-In – For authentication.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) – For push notifications.
• Razorpay – For payment processing (upcoming feature).

7. App Permissions

The ChampionsBooks Android app requests the following permissions:

• Internet Access – Required to load worksheets, categories, and account information from our servers.
• Storage / Downloads – Required to save downloaded PDF worksheets to your device's Downloads folder.
• Notifications – Required to send push notifications about new worksheets, updates, and announcements (can be disabled in device settings).

We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other sensitive device data.

8. Push Notifications

The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. We may send notifications about:

• New worksheet additions
• App updates and announcements
• Special offers (upcoming)

You can opt out of push notifications at any time by going to your device's Settings → Apps → ChampionsBooks → Notifications and disabling them. Your FCM device token is stored solely to deliver notifications and is never shared with third parties.

9. Data Collected by the App

When you use the Android app, we may collect:

• Account Information: Name, email address (via email registration or Google Sign-In).
• Download History: Which worksheets you have downloaded, to improve recommendations.
• Device Token: A Firebase FCM token to deliver push notifications to your device.
• App Usage Data: Basic anonymized usage patterns (e.g., categories browsed) to improve the app experience.

We do not collect precise location data, payment card numbers, or any biometric data.

10. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To delete your account:

1. Open the ChampionsBooks app → Profile tab.
2. Tap "Delete Account" (or use our dedicated deletion page below).
3. We will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Downloaded PDF files saved to your device are stored locally and are not affected by account deletion. You may delete them manually from your device's Downloads folder.

11. Children's Privacy

ChampionsBooks is an educational platform designed for children (Preschool to Grade 5). However, account registration is intended for parents and teachers, not for children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at info@championsbooks.shop and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
